Check lubrication amount and type, bearing condition, alignment, seal friction, cooling flow, and dust ingress in a controlled order.
Stop the machine when temperature rises rapidly, vibration or noise changes, or the equipment limit is exceeded; follow the delivered manual.
Record the material batch, feed condition, equipment configuration, operating parameters, sampling method, particle-size method, output, temperature, pressure trend, and any abnormal observation. Comparable records are more useful than isolated numbers.
